We’re excited to launch our First Annual Walk for Young Minds — a 2KM, family-friendly event in support of the Centre’s Prevention & Early Intervention Services, which builds the foundation for infant and early childhood mental health — all while celebrating 40 years of serving children and families in our communities. Join us for a walk, enjoy fall-themed activities, and celebrate the power of early support! Registration is free and participants are encouraged to raise $40 to celebrate our 40th Anniversary this year.

Raising funds for children’s mental health can create powerful, lasting change—just ask Ian Eix, a dedicated Etobicoke resident who took on a 24-hour mini-triathlon challenge and raised $1,250. His effort is a reminder that one person’s determination can directly support life-changing programs and resources for young people struggling with their mental well-being. Every dollar raised helps break down barriers to care, offering hope, support, and brighter futures for children in our community.
Kyle Epp, one of our incredible supporters, embarked on a 7,500 km solo bike ride across 10 provinces to raise awareness and funds for children’s mental health and our Centre—ultimately raising an inspiring $17,000. Motivated by his own mental health journey, Kyle turned his personal struggles into a powerful mission to help others. “The funds I raised will go directly to improving the quality of life of children and their families,” he shared. His story is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many.
Sandi De Camargo, a real estate agent with RE/MAX Hallmark Realty Ltd., Brokerage, has long brought joy to the North Toronto community through her annual skating party. In 2021, moved by the growing mental health challenges children were facing during the pandemic, she added a fundraising component to support The George Hull Centre. Despite the unpredictable ups and downs of Toronto weather, Sandi and her community completed the challenge and successfully raised $545. Her thoughtful initiative shows how local events, fueled by compassion, can make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
