Volunteers enrich our services and make a difference in the lives of children and families by giving of their time, skills, dedication and enthusiasm.

At The George Hull Centre, volunteers are used primarily in three main areas:

  1. The Ontario Early Years Centre, a universal program for children from birth to age 6 and their caregivers.  Click here to read more about the program.
  2. The Highfield Community Enrichment Project (Better Beginnings, Better Futures), is a school-based primary prevention program working with children, birth to 8 years of age,   their families and the local Highfield community.  Click here to read more about the project.
  3. Research and Program Evaluation, undertaking data collection, entry and analysis.

Volunteers are required to have a vulnerable sector criminal reference check and a current medical certificate.
