Family Group Conferencing Trainer Requirements

Family Group Conferencing Trainers offer:

(1) Introductory Training that provides an orientation to the philosophy, history and practice of FGC, targeted at referral sources and prospective coordinators;

(2) Advanced Training that provides skills building for prospective coordinators and referral sources who would like a deeper understanding of the mechanics of the process;

(3) Capacity Building in the form of start-up training focusing on organizational issues and consultation as the program matures;

(4) Mentoring and Consultation to beginning coordinators.
